I’m based in Plant 18 in Hungary, where I’ve had six different roles and worked with countless different teams.
 
On one particularly memorable project, we were tasked with expanding the plant and relocating an entire product group. While it came with a lot of challenges, it was so rewarding in the end, as each and every challenge became an ultimate success.

I joined in Hilti in July 2007 as a plant and project engineer. In the first 5 years, I worked intensively towards introducing new products to our assembly line, leading a team and supporting another plant to relocate certain products, related processes and machinery.

Since the end of 2011, I led the project team in the plant and worked closely with the global team to implement a completely new manufacturing concept, including machinery,  tooling and material we had never used before. We are very proud as a team to have made this project succesful as we are saving now 2 million CHF every year!
 
In my position as head of engineering since January 2016, I led the re-structure and strengthening of the engineering team. In order to broaden my career scope and increase the efficiency of our processes, I transferred then to production, as a value stream manager.
 
Hilti’s core value and people caring culture attracted me a lot, the jobs are always challenging, I always enjoy the career journey in Hilti. Next steps? I’d like to continuously explore any further career opportunities and take on more responsibility.
