I joined Hilti while still completing my Master's degree. I was immediately impressed by the employee centricity here, namely the flexibility I had in my job along with the strong development path. Having worked before, I could certainly describe my experience with Hilti as enriching and captivating. Even though I have started as a working student, I have been given real responsibilities from day 1 and I felt that through my job, I’m making a difference and I’m very much driven by creating impact and doing something meaningful.
Besides, I have had a great team, who supported my learning path and made my integration very smooth. In my role, I work with HR and IT professionals from each location worldwide, exploring an impressive workforce diversity and learning so much from each one of them. Together we have strengthened the intellectual capital in the area and improved the support structure. And there is much more to come.
After a year of working in the Global IT HR as an intern, I have been given the opportunity to continue with Hilti long term in a new role of IT Project Manager and I’m looking forward to new challenges, which always come with great learnings.
From the beginning, I was impressed by the company culture which is inclusive, results oriented and very supportive. I learn new things every day, about the job and about myself and this motivates me to stay and keep exploring.
