I joined Hilti in January 2014 as training specialist in Turkey. I had experience in different sectors as pharmaceuticals, food & beverage but construction was totally new to me. After 2 years in that role I took the HRBP role. Then in August 2017 a new opportunity arose from GB.

I first joined Hilti France in July 2014 for a gap year internship in Finance Controlling. Here, I’ve been given the chance to work with both Global Accounts and Services teams. We were at the very beginning of Services’ ramp up: it was amazing to be part of the story and help Marketing colleagues on financial concepts. For sure, there were some challenging times but also very inspiring colleagues.  

After graduating, my former manager offered me to come back on a permanent position as financial planning analyst. This job was an opportunity to be at the heart of the company’s financial topics. What did I truly like in this job? To be the interface between Western Europe companies and Group HQ. In such a position, you really feel being part of a wide community. 

After less than a year on the job, I moved to sales business partner team, where I now do my best to help our sales district going further 

 

All these experiences shared two common things. On every job, you feel part of a community with people holding similar position inside the region’s other companies. Every time also I had a balance between daily business operations and mid-term projects. From my point of view, that’s one of the key point to stay engaged on the long-term view.
